Many places in Tokyo, illuminations decorate city in winter specially the Christmas season approaches.

Lots people enjoy look them every year because there are some changes a little in same spot and illuminations make us feel "end of the year soon". 

Just after huge earthquake in 2011, illuminations were induced a mood of self-control among public opinion, but it has been back again and they showcases winter in Tokyo.
